Reclaim Gift Aid

Gift Aid It!Add 25% more to your donation at no cost to you. A Gift Aid declaration allows the Islamic Trust Maidenhead to claim tax back on eligible donations. It means that for every £1 you donate to the Islamic Trust Maidenhead we can claim back 25p, at no extra cost to you.

By ticking the "Yes" box, I agree I would like the Islamic Trust Maidenhead to reclaim the tax on all qualifying donations I have made, as well as any future donations, until I notify them otherwise. I understand that if I pay less Income Tax and/or Capital Gains Tax than the amount of Gift Aid claimed on all my donations in that tax year I may be asked to pay any difference. I understand that the Islamic Trust will reclaim 25p of tax on every £1 that I give.

Donation Total: £100.00

Today, more than 80% of African migration is internal to the African continent and involves nearly 19 million people, including 6.7 million in West Africa and 3.5 million in Central Africa. Women represent 47.1% and young people between 15 and 24 years of age 16% of migrants. Unfortunately, media capacities to cover migration are relatively weak; media content often provide inaccurate description of migration factors and scarce migrant stories or focus on migration risks, thus often misrepresenting migrants.

This project will involve eight countries: Cameroon, Côte d’Ivoire, Ghana, Guinea-Conakry, Mali, Niger, Nigeria and Senegal. Young women from the media and communication sectors of the target countries will be involved, and particular attention will be paid to the production of editorial content on young migrant women, who are among the least represented groups of migrant populations.
