Phase 1 - Closure of the old Islamic Centre and demolition of terrapins

In early March 2023, the hoarding went up around the entire site to protect the public and to secure the area. 
 
The water and electrics were disconnected and demolition of the existing terrapins (old Islamic Centre) began.
 
Management offices were installed on site. Power, internet access, toilet facilities and other amenities were also installed on the site to facilitate project operations.

Phase 2 - Land & Foundation

APRIL 2023

All debris was removed from the site in order for the ground to be levelled and prepared for a solid and compacted foundation.

Deep piling and steel works were undertaken to create strong foundations and to support the structure.

Ground floor concrete and steel work completed.

Phase 3 - First Floor Structure

First floor structure work started in August.

Structure Complete

NOVEMBER 2023

We have now completed all the structural stages of our new Islamic Centre with the the completion of the roof end of last month.

The site is now in the process of being cleared ready for the scaffolding to go up which will be followed by block and brick work in the coming weeks Insha’Allah.
